Memory Loss Due to Lack of Sleep

memory loss due to lack of sleep

For most people, lack of sleep has far less devastating consequences, but sleep deprivation can result in some serious side effects nonetheless.

After only 24 hours without sleep, most people start to feel irritable. After about two or three sleepless nights their memory and judgement will start to deteriorate and ordinary everyday mental and physical tasks will become difficult to perform.

If you manage to stay awake for long enough, you may even hallucinate or display other signs of mental illness.
